Visited for wrist pain and finger numbness. New patient. Excelent. Quickly diagnosed, thoroughly explained to me, and advised of next steps should I want them. Very prompt and professional. Also, rarely you get to see a doc on duty dressed in a suit and tie. Shows respect for patients and coworkers.
I am a Neurosurgeon at Mission Hospital, Hoag, Hoag Orthopedic Institute, and Saddleback Memorial, so when my dad broke his wrist I naturally reached out to numerous colleagues to find the very best. Dr. Elzik and his staff have been excellent. The entire team, including his office staff (with a special acknowledgement for Deserea, who managed all of my paperwork for work and disability, and Mike, Dr Elzik’s assistant who was so kind and helpful ) and surgical center staff is professional, compassionate, and thorough. I would highly recommend Dr Elzik .
Dr. Elzik is fantastic! He’s very attentive and calm and walked me through the whole process for my outpatient surgery on my thumb. I will recommend him to anyone who needs hand surgery l.
New Year's Eve Dr. Elzik walked into the pre surgical area and told me I had a "devastating injury" to my elbow after an accident. He did not know how the surgery would turn out. After several hours he had to remove a lot of bone fragments, put in pins and screws but my arm was in one piece. After months of therapy, I'm happy to say my arm is almost fully functional. This has been one of the best offices i have ever visited. The girl at the front desk was nice and as soon as i finished my paper work i waited about 3 minutes and was check in to a room. I was met by another doctor he filled out all of my paper work and issued my written prescription and he said the radiologist would be right in and left as soon as he left i went right into take my xrays all in about 5 minutes.
