Wish I'd discovered this sooner! – I moved from LA to Chicago 16 years ago, and for the first 15 of those years continued to fly back to LA to have my hair cut and colored. WONDEDFUL HAIRCUT!!! – I have been going to Marianne Strokirk Salon so long I can't even remember when I started there. It is over ten years, for sure. I feel like family there now. For years, I had a terrible time with my hair looking stringy and limp and thin. As soon as Sandy cut it, I found out I had a nice head of hair, easy to manage. Fabulous haircut and blowdry on the Goldcoast!!! – I have been going to Marianne Strokirk on Oak St. for over 5yrs. upon my daughter's recommendation. My gray hair has never looked more beautiful as the cut and blowdry is the best I have ever had in Chicago/suburbs!! No matter where I go, EVERYDAY, there is ALWAYS someone that comments on how amazing my hair looks, even on my way to get my hair done!!!! Great Salon – Marianne Strokirk has a beautiful, light-filled salon on Chestnut and Orleans. I have unruly, curly hair and I have definitely been satisfied by their expert stylists and great customer service. Believe me, I have shopped around! I would like to especially mention Monica for color, Toni for cut, and Ganka for luxurious manicures and pedicures. Also, if you come on a Saturday, you can munch on almond croissants and sip gourmet coffee while you are waiting for your color to develop.

Look good, Feel good! – Before going to Marianne I would never have had the guts to try a new look or cut my long hair. However, the talented, creative staff at Marianne Strokirk gave me the confidence I needed to try something new. Thank god I did! I get more compliments now than ever and I feel and look great! Best Haircut Everytime – Marianne Strokirk Salon consistently provides the best haircuts. Everytime I walk out of there I feel like a million bucks and everyone notices my great cut. I must say that I am extremely picky about cuts. I have lived in a variety of different cites and states and have had dozens of people cut my hair (with prices ranging well over $100).
