I have never gotten so many compliments on anything I have ever done, as I have on the hair cut and highlights that I had done at Marianne Strokirk Salon. It has been 3 weeks and I am still getting compliments from EVERYONE I know! Marianne, Marnie and Kaeley worked together as artists to create for me a whole new look. Excellent results! – I went in last week for the Tuesday night "workshop" and did not leave disappointed. The skill level of these professionals (they are not students) is high and the cost for the services is low. The apprentices are all beauty school graduates who are in a two-year program before they can get a chair in the salon. $20 is absurdly low but in this economy, it's a great deal for anyone who really cares about their hair but perhaps cannot afford to pay a lot these days. Better Men's Cut then I ever got in New York or Los Angeles – Recently moved to Chicago and don't have the greatest hair. My collegues recommended the Marianne Strokirk Salon. First of all, the salon is a great experience and very comfortable, but more importantly I have the best cut I have ever had. Wash it, towel dry it and that's it. That to me is what makes a great haircut. And besides, it must be great. People ask me where I get my hair cut. You won't find better.

Great haircolor stylists!! – Went here for a fresh "new" look...and I got it!! Received lots of compliments on my still blonde, but very updated look. If you want a great color job that's right up to the minute (helps to keep you youthful looking AND current)--ask for Shelly!!

Great for Speical Occasions – Toni was wonderful with updos for a wedding or special event. Super patient, would not let me or any other girls leave unless we loved our hair. Very invested in her work. Great stylist, and great for new looks.

Marianne Strokirk is the best by far!! – I started going to Marianne Strokirk on the recommendation of a close friend when I moved to Chicago ten years ago. I've been going there ever since! Kelly is an excellent stylist and I love the way she cuts and styles my hair. The service is great, the salon is "trendy", and Kelly has become a friend. I would highly recommend this Salon!!

Expert haircolorist - John Castro – I've been going to John Castro for many years for haircolor and highly recommend him. Before finding him I was letting my stylist cut and color my hair and my color did not look natural or healthy. I also like that I can dry my hair myself which helps with expenses. He is an expert on color and is constantly updating his skills. Trust him. The salon itself is very nice and in a good location for city dwellers like myself.

Best Salon in the City – Hands down, the best salon in Chicago. The staff is incredibly friendly and the stylists are top notch. Always a pleasant and relaxing experience. The personal attention is unparalleled. I highly recommend Marianne Strokirk Salon to anyone who is looking for THE place to go for his or her salon needs. Truly the best around!

Best haircut and color – My coworker got her haircut here, and she looked great. I heard her get tons of compliments, so I decided to try it myself. I've never been happier with my hair cut or color, and I've never received more compliments on my hair. It's more expensive, but it's worth it.
