Bad all the way around.
I loved University of Kansas Medical Hospital to everyone. They have the best Doctors, Nurses, etc than any other hospital that I know of. I would recommend everyone to go there. One thing for sure if you go you will know what is wrong it may take awhile but they will figure it out. Best Hospital ever
Daughter has stage 4 gastric cancer that has metastasized. Scheduled for EGD scope at 4:30 pm today at KU Medical Center to find out why bilirubin so high. (Related to liver). Cant do her chemo until she gets this scope. Cancelled due to two emergency EGDs that came in Puhlease ... bad weather and docs wanted to leave. Delaying chemo because they want to leave is costing her days in her life. KU says best cancer care? Really??? Go to MD Anderson. I ll sign my name too! Mary Loesch
I would recommend avoiding this company. The customer service I received from every department I interacted with was absolutely horrendous. From the doctor to imaging to billing. No one will help with with questions or requests. But they are happy to bill you $1,300 after not administering any treatment. If you are unfortunately already a patient especially avoid Dr Jean-Philippe Darche. He is either incompetent and/or had no interest in helping me with my shoulder injury.
I had a sinus surgery done this morning by Dr. David Rouse. He did a great job! All the nurses, doctors, and any other health care provider was AWESOME!!!

I had some minor outpatient surgery this morning but I want to give a big shout out to the surgical team at KU MedWest off Renner Road. They were amazing. Everyone from the front desk person that checked me in to the recovery room nurse were so friendly and professional. One of the best surgical experiences I have had. Thank you.
Having better call centers. I'm usually on hold for 20 minutes before someone answers and then transfered to a voicemail.
Gotta love University of Kansas Health System when they send a bill due THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS for additional money for a procedure performed ELEVEN MONTHS AGO that we assumed was long since paid for in full. We were pleased with our experience up until now. BAH HUMBUG to you too, University of Kansas Health!
