This is literally the worst hospital I’ve been too. The service is BEYOND slow and anytime you try to ask for help, the attitudes from the staff are absurd. A hospital is a place that’s supposed to make people feel better, as staff your job is to service the patients, that’s what you get paid and signed up to do! My husband finally decided to leave and go to another emergency room after waiting 5 hours here. But I guess it’s a state hospital, what do you expect? 😂🤷🏻♀️
I wanted to give a huge shout out to the wonderful staff on unit CA6 of the Cambridge Tower; specifically Geoff, Hannah, Maddie, Chase, Emily and Lawanda as well as the EEG techs. The care that they provided to our daughter the weekend of January 24-26, 2020 was absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly caring, compassionate, kind, professional and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to provide the best possible care to our sweet girl. It's obvious that not only are they completely dedicated to their patients, they ... read more
I went to Mosaic told me nothing wrong, UHKC within a month found a breast tumor & had it removed. Absolutely the best care!
every employee from custodial thru doctors made your comfort a priority
Great care for my dad and my stepmom. All the staff was also extremely nice and helpful to all of us as well while there with them. My dad said he was so happy with the care he received and was excellent. Thank you all.
Go elsewhere! They completely did a bait and switch on me, resulting in a bill of $450. Doctors nurse at KU med arranged an appointment for a procedure in their pain clinic and when I show up they said it was only a consultation. Never was I informed a consultation was required. I would have gone elsewhere if I did. Spend a year proactively trying to resolve this? ....they take it to collections and now are actually suing to steal this $450 from me. Legalized extortion, plain and simple.
I’ve worked for this health system for 20 years this year. I’d like to think the way I care for people is the same that each employee cares for patients here. Hospitals don’t have to feel “corporate” or “institutional”! It’s people caring for people.
My dad was at St Luke’s for leukemia and received treatment and a positive prognosis and after he left there nothing went well. Dr Called us in to tell us my dad had no chance of living and that was it... they declined him for a research trials and were done... horrible experience
Hands down the worst treatment center. My father-in-law has been there for over a week and has not yet been given a diagnosis. After an MRI, the Drs couldn't agree if the tumor in his brain was operable or not, or if there is 1 or 2 tumors. A scope was done to remove some tissue from his lungs for histology, we were told the results were and there was going to be a consultation....nobody showed. There is zero communication between the Drs and patient. We are continually told that someone will come by (physician, therapist, n... read more
