I was a new patient at KUMC, therefore, I found myself "lost" and not knowing where to go for medical appointments and tests. No need to worry tho as I found many smiles on faces of employees and others who were happy to assist me with directions and answers to questions I had. I was absolutely amazed with all the employees who helped me. These were faces of employees who are happy and proud to work at KU Med Center. Thank you to all of you!

My husband worked there for over 20 yrs. In 2008 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and that’s where I went. Everyone was fabulous at the cancer center, they made me feel like I was their #1 patient.
This place allows their doctors to promote deadly pseudoscience and child abuse.
I recommend KU because they are the very best at what they do and they do it with care and compassion. I was in the hospital there for a week with pulmonary embolisms and from the instant the ambulance arrived i was treated with nothing compassion and a sense of urgency. The ER doctor's were very capable and they saved my life, once i got to my room on the 6th floor the staff was so very kind and knowledgeable. From Kara to Sam to Dylan and Heath and Haley and Karen and Derek and Medea and of course Dr Tim Dwyer were all so ... read more

The nurse then called the police when my niece was having a seizure. They insisted that she was on drugs . They kept asking what drugs was she taking. when in fact the report came back on her blood work no drugs, but my niece has a citation for assult on a nurse in the ER. First this is racial profiling. Second, this nurse... read more
Thank you for taking good care of my girl amazing place will always be a fan
Most of the staff are wonderful but my experience with Dr. Yacoub was terrible. He did not listen to me at all as I tried to explain my health history and insisted I get an unnecessary, painful and expensive biopsy. I have recently received a bill for a blood test done over a year ago. When I spoke to Robert Spaniol in the billing dept. I got the passive aggressive, snotty run around. He will blame the insurance company and you for there untimely billing practices. It's Roberts job to give you as little real help as possible... read more
