I had surgery on April 18th at KU hospital. I was very impressed with every part of my care while at the hospital. From the time we checked in, till the time I left I was treated with great care and kindness. The staff was extremely organized; from admissions, to nursing staff, discharge team, and pharmacy. It was by far the best hospital experience I have ever had!

My nephew is a patient in your hospital, the other day he was left for seven hours sitting in his own urine, and his doctor acts like he does not want to treat him. I really thought KU Med was one of the best, and I spent 20 years in healthcare. Boy was I wrong.

The level of care and compassion that was shown to my family during the most trying time of our lives is remarkable.
