I have never been in so much pain in my entire life until the staff at Maple Grove Hospital ER came to my rescue. They admitted me right into my private exam room and immediately took care of my pain, dehydration and discomfort. Then they did a CT scan and MRI explaining every step of the procedures. My ER nurse Melissa was excellent. They found i had pancreatitis and needed to remove my gallbladder. We came into MGH for a scheduled c-section on a Tuesday AM. All the Drs and nurses made my wife feel at home and were helpful. Having a well-planned and responsive hospital stay is always nice. S/o to Dani and Jackie for a great final day from the Mrs.
Well my daughter went in dehydrated. All the while waiting in the ER vomiting. She was given an IV with saline and Zofran. She is 7 and had tachycardia with a heart rate of 176. They give her a popsicle and have her give a urine specimen. I am a CNA, I got the specimen from her. I set it on the tray where they wanted it. The nurse brought in another popsicle but my daughter didn't want it so the nurse set it right next to the damn urine specimen!!!!! What the he!! Nasty!!!! Then they basically kick my daughter out. This past Monday night I presented to the ER around 1 am for dehydration due to the nasty norovirus going around. The staff were very quick to assess me despite the fact that I wasn't what would be considered a 'true emergency' and within the first 30 minutes I was there they already had me hooked up to fluids. I saw Dr. Rossini and he was very nice and prompt in his assessment of my health. Took my girlfriend here with a broken jaw and mouth bleeding a lot. Waiting in emergency for over an hour as she kept bleeding in pain. They didn't seem to really care much.
The staff took excellent care of me while I was there!!! Made a stay at the hospital as enjoyable as it could be.
My husband has been having to be hospitalized three times do to a wound infection. This is the first time he has been to Maple Grove. They have been amazing. I'm so impressed best care yet.
