RecommendedI grew up in this town for 23 years (until I couldn't afford it anymore). Every time I visit SC (at least 2x/year) I go here as soon as I arrive and as many times as I can before I leave! The food and salsa is UNMATCHED! enchilada plate is my favorite! Also their house made guacamole is to die for! Not only that but the servers are all very nice and it's very community driven! This summer they even gave me a bouquet of dahlias for my wedding! Best place, food and people in town!
RecommendedBeen coming to Manuel's since 1993 and have never been disappointed. When Manny passed away a few years ago us neighbors were concerned that the restaurant would change and it would be another great icon gone by the wayside. I was wrong and the place is as good as ever. Best service in the county. Food is pretty good too. Margaritas are the best (get the pitcher).
We live in Virginia, originally from Southern CA. Way back in 2006 a friend from Germany was going to CA for a concert in Soquel and we decided we needed a road trip. We arrived the day before our friend was due and Manuel's was recommended. We went there for dinner and LOVED it.
