I really don't get it. Overpriced, tasteless, pre-plated, beyond loud, tables crammed so tight you can't pull back your chair... I guess neighborhood convenience trumps basic taste, quality and value. We won't be back.
RecommendedAbsolute best Mexican food I have ever had, hands down!
My husband and I have been going to Manuel's since 2001. We went there on our first date and have been going there ever since! The service, food, and atmosphere has always been great. My favorite is the #3 (substitute for chicken enchilada), but I also love their Huevos Rancheros.
Always the best! Don’t forget to purchase a jar of salsa from the bar......
Delicious Beef Tostada and Modelo. Yummy dinner. It's been this way since 1965. Been coming here more than 50 years. Every time I'm in the County, we visit Manuel's. See you next month. :)
A must every time we are in the area! The Friday night special is delicious, we are hooked. The service is wonderful, and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Been coming to Mannie's since 1967! Thanks to my niece, Kera Bagwell, for starting the tradition of freezing their beef burritos to travel, and my other niece, Vanessa De La Piedra for bringing some for us at our family reunion in North Carolina!
The absolute best - been coming here since I was just a little kid (48 now...) - been a tradition in our family for even longer with my Aunt and Dad. We moved away from Santa Cruz 24 years ago to CT. and then Atlanta but still come and visit every single chance we get. On our visits, we order tons of beef burritos and freeze them to take home with us - hopefully enough to last until or next trip to Santa Cruz! Heading out in2 weeks - eating my last burrito right now for lunch!!
I absolutely love this restaurant best family owned and great food ! One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Santa Cruz county . The staff is always so friendly and warm ! Food is amazing great authentic taste and flavor. 😀
