RecommendedCould not have been more pleasantly surprised! We just wanted a place to stay close enough to walk to a music venue and ended up in an oasis for in the middle of the most charming part of Mobile, AL. The hotel is old (pre-Civil War), beautiful, laid back and loaded with charm! The Friendly staff was extremely helpful with directions and history, there are bicycles available, the courtyard beckons, the rooms are extremely comfy—just an all-round lovely experience!
If you enjoy nostalgia this is the place to be! Cozy, historic, large rooms. It’s kinda like stepping back into time when life was simple and less chaotic. I will definitely book again!

This place needs better and professional employees the housekeepers are horrible and linen on the beds needs to be a little more cleaner pillows are so nasty I will never be back

stayed hear and one of the one of the housekeeper she was white was coming out our room and my watch was missing
