The Makanda Inn is a hidden jewel in southern Illinois! The owner has done an exceptional job with every detail. The managers are so helpful and accommodating ! We booked a suite for our son and daughter in law after their wedding. They we absolutely impressed. The managers made sure every detail was in place. The breakfast they cooked in morning was highly bragged on. If you want a place to stay, I highly recommend the Makanda Inn!
Beautiful! Fantastic staff! The breakfasts Heather put together were exactly what we desired. Central to great hiking and wine trails. We will be back.
My husband and I just returned from a weekend getaway at Makanda Inn - we had a great time! Heather and Eric were wonderful - breakfast each morning was awesome! We will definately be coming back!
