I have been sitting in the ER, in severe pain, for over two hours. Still in the waiting room! I haven't even been put in a room to start that wait yet.

To the nurses and doctors that took care of my daughter they were amazing. She was having problems breathing and we where in a room with in 5-10 mins. The pediatric respiratory nurse gave my daughter three breathing treatments and we been so used to them just hooking her up and leaving the room and these nurses stay with her make sure she wasn’t scared and play rock paper scissor the entire of her breathing treatments to keep her busy. Everyone was so caring for her.

I want to first say that the staff at this hospital are friendly and somewhat friendly. The hospital itself is not clean. The room mt husband was in smelled like urine. There is a sign posted that talks about cleanliness. He was not given clean sheets or clothes or a bath until the 2nd day in. RN did crawl onto his bed to plug in machines, when he could have walked around to the other side. St. Mary's is a better hospital. Cafeteria scored an 85,B on food safety.

Ended up in the ER this morning having chest pain and when I got there heart rate was really high. Was trying to ask the nurse could they get someone in the back felt like I was dying. Nurses then yelled at me and said she would get to me when they can. Another hospital that would let you die. Miss Duke Hospital the Hearts nothing to play with. Doctors and nurse in the back was awesome.

Wonderful patient experience, horrific billing experience. A recent ER visit was $537 with insurance, but would have only cost $206.80 as cash pay. A Piedmont employee suggested I never tell the staff I have insurance.

My husband had a heart attack on 2/14/19 and was taken by ambulance to Piedmont. He was rushed straight to the cath lab for a stent insertion and then to CICU. The level of care could not have been better.

This "hospital" is a joke. My 87 year old dad, who has Parkinson's, was admitted Jan 25, 2019 because he suffered a stroke, The next night, he was " restrained" by security officers and handcuffed to the bed. No family was ever called. We heard it from my dad when we arrived at the hospital. We had to track down his nurse Matt, to find out what had happened. Wouldn't take a pet rock here.

I work in cafeteria in basement everyone is nice including the employees coming through the line. Good atmosphere to work in & benefits are awesome.

Athens is the worst hospital I’ve been to . The nurses are boujee & all they do is urine and blood test and send you on your way . They don’t care about the patient they care about the money . I rather drive an hour to Atlanta then to this crappy place 😊 . Before they get to you ; you would have done got worst for what you came in for .
