Mai Kungkran (now Meyers) grew up in a suburb of Bangkok, Thailand, and attended school at a local Buddhist temple. While living near Bangkok, Mai learned traditional, "home style" Thai cooking from her father. At the age of 18, Mai married an American Soldier and moved to the United States. My brother and his wife were in from Texas and we enjoyed Mai's spring rolls, wontons, glass noodle soup, and pad thai!!! EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS!!!

RecommendedI just had my first visit to Mai's Thai in about 10 years. I never had a bad experience. I just forgot how good Thai food was. I think I will be going more often after this visit. A friend, who frequents this restaurant has been telling me how good it is and I didn't doubt it so we went this week. I saw several people come in for take-out while we dined.
