Mai Kungkran (now Meyers) grew up in a suburb of Bangkok, Thailand, and attended school at a local Buddhist temple. While living near Bangkok, Mai learned traditional, "home style" Thai cooking from her father. At the age of 18, Mai married an American Soldier and moved to the United States. Definitely my favorite place to eat. The Phad Thai, Laad Nah, and chicken stir fry are some of the dishes that I really enjoy. The food tastes wonderful and after eating there a few times you meet Mai, the proprietor. Mai is that special person that you like to be around because she radiates joy and you can't help but feel better about yourself and the world. Maybe a little cheesy but it's true.

RecommendedI love Mai's. I always get the yellow curry with chicken and it never disappoints. I could eat the curry everyday and never get tired of it. If you haven't been to Mai's, go, go, go!!!
