Good Italian comfort served family style. – My wife and I stopped in here for a quick lunch. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and an appetizer(Chicken Parm, Meatball sub, and tomato/mozzerella+basil appetizer). Our server was a bit new, which probably justified her on the sunday lunch shift, and she was slow and made mistakes with our order. The food though was very good and with the table parmesian(sp?) cheese(nothing grated here, not fine dining), it picked up the mild sauce. The table bread wasn't very good, but the bals... read more
FREEZER BURN FOOD! – What a disgrace....a restaurant with "Little Italy" in the title... Their food was NOT fresh at all. My food was slightly warm at best. Their oil for for bread dipping was bland. The service was horrible... I am shocked. I mean it isn't just one thing that turns me off about this place, it is numerous things. I do not mind spending money for good food....they have guts charging what they do for their portion sizes and freezer burned entrees! We didn't do family style, there was 4 of us and we each got ou... read more
Average Food, Good Service – I have been to this place a few times, and I am not really that impressed. The service and staff is well, and the decor of the restaurant is good, but the food is not that great. Not one of my favorite Italian Restaurants; food does not have that "authentic" flair like some others here in Atlanta. Even the bread is bad!
Best Italian food in charlotte – This is the best Italian food in Charlotte. Classic southern Italian food that tastes great. The restaurant made me feel like I was back in the old neighborhood in NY. The service was excellent and the recommendation for the special fish was exactly what my girlfriend wanted. The flavor of the marninara sauce was perfect. I couldn't have had a better experience than I did.
Huge portions! – Given, I did get the Family Style meal (pretty much an all you can eat buffet) with 3 other people, but none the less, it was alot of food. For less than $30 per person, you choose from 2 appetizers, 2 salads, 2 pastas, 2 main courses, and 2 desserts..... that's 2 much food!!!!! =) But seriously, even with 4 of us, that was a lot of food to finish. Don't get me wrong, we did finish all the dishes, and even got more of 1 of them, but still. =) The food was great and the service evenly matched. The only downsi... read more
Delicious! – This was my first at Maggiano's and I have to say, I was impressed. We went at a busy time during lunch and they still had good service. Some snobby hostess but nothing that gets in the way. The waiters are cute, food is great and also VERY large portions, espicially if you are smaller in size, price was decent. The atmosphere can be very romantic and at the same time a good place for kids.
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!! – I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone I know going to Philly. I love: the brushettsa (oven roasted tomatoes, thick parmesean shaving, fresh basil, wondefule bread) the fresh mozerrella and tomato appetizer (melt in your mouth) the clamari (soft and perfectly coated) the crab cakes and lump and fresh- no fillers, the veal raviolis are rich and sinful, teh gnocchi is delicious. I have had the talapia, cheesecake and the tiramisu is huge and amazing. It's good for a romantic dinner and business... read more
great atmosphiere – great looking place spacious with a stylish ny city look..had chicken salti boca over fetticinni with alfredo sause..pasta was cooked right el dente sause was bland no flavor..chicken tender ..service fair considering it was not busy.prices modest considering a south park location..worth another try for the generous looking pasta dishes.
You really get your $$ Worth – We stopped here after shopping at PErimeter Mall with my 3&6 year olds. The staff were friendly, the food was phenomenal, but we wasted alot. My Husband loves Veal Parm, and ccan never find it, well theirs was fantastic he says. I enjoyed the Shrimp and broccoli Aflredo. The girls got their typical spaghetti and were full. I do have to say the cheesecake was not that great. have had much better. But the ambiance, food and staff were great! P.S. If you have abig appetite or can tqake home leftov... read more
