Recommendedmy mother-in-law was transferred to magee bc she was sepsis..literally dead on machines. it was so scary and heartbreaking. the nurse's and docs were absolutely amazing! when I say amazing..that's an understatement. I've never seen people who don't even know you be so caring and understanding in my life. explained everything they were doing to save her step by step. anwsered every single question our family had so that we could understand in "our terms" the staff isn't there for just the money..they care about their patients... read more
Night Nurse Michele on mom and baby floor was the best to myself and my baby, Daisy. I had a c section 2/11/20 and she was the one nurse that i felt really cared about my baby and i. Thank you Michele, you really made a difference.
they are the best my oldest son was born here and he wasnt breathing on his own and he had a really low heart rate and they helped I would come here every time if I went into labor cause he is now a healthy 5 year old

Excellent nursing staff and clean facility
Just gave birth to my second baby at this hospital however my third child it total on 2/11/2020. I live this hospital and the nurses are great! I’ve never had a bad experience here and I will 100% recommend this hospital to anyone. Best hospital by far that I’ve ever been in, in Pennsylvania.
Horrible birthing experience. Go somewhere else if you can. You are just a number in this baby factory. Nurses have too many patients and were moved so much that they changed every 4 hours and you rarely saw the same one after one visit. Epidural was messed up. Don't ever ask for anything. Thank goodness this wasn't my first kid or I would have been totally lost and on my own. I was in an "overflow" area where their were prisoners. I think too many times Magee gets a bad rap. I have had four babies here and have received excellent care every time. I know every experience is different but I have nothing but great things to say about the labor and delivery unit!!! Thank you Magee and all the great staff there!
