I have been inpatient here 21 days. So far this hospital has done 2 surgeries that were both messed up, have lost my personal insulin pens that were somehow locked on their med carts, and decided to hold my TPN bc “we cannot find your insulin”. Did I mention the RN on oncology that yanked out my Power Port cath while I was trying to shower??? This hospital is a disaster.

They discriminate against single parents and the nurses ignored my paperwork and overdosed me on medicine, causes extreme illness and lasting consequences to my health.

I have never been so disgusted with this place & I've only been here once. I've called now 3 times to reschedule a test to a local facility & they are doing a pretty crap job of calling back.
Business response:
Hi Amanda, We are so sorry you had a negative experience. To speak with a member of our patient relations team, please call 412-641-4579.
I was called and told that I would be scheduled with a specialist, and then never scheduled. When I tried to call I could only reach a full message box, then I tried a different number to only be treated disrespectfully, shamed and led to another number that did not work. Don’t waste your time trying to find good women’s health care unless you are a pregnant woman.

Wonderful staff, clean rooms...
I gave birth to my first child on March 11th and they took great care of both my son and myself. My nurses were really nice and made sure I had everything I needed and I was very comfortable for my stay there. I would definitely give birth here again. My son had an 8 day NICU stay and all his nurses were great they answered any questions I had and they took really good care of my son while he was there. He’s grown so much between now and then and he’s come a long way. I highly recommend this hospital.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience!
We’re from MD and have been doctoring in Morgantown WV. During my pregnancy I became very uncomfortable and in severe pain. We came to find out it was from a very large kidney stone. My OB and Urologist didn’t seem to have the answers for me or a good “care plan.” I researched and found UPMC and contacted the urology team immediately! I explained my situation and within 2 weeks they had me in the operating room removing my stone to make me more comfortable and avoid infection for me and baby! We drove 1.5 hours to have the p... read more
