I recently had breast surgery at Magee. There is no place else I would have gone. My doctor was top notch and every single nurse I encountered was caring and loving beyond measure. I received so many hugs and reassurances from the nurses as I was going through my procedures, if really made a difference. This is a special group of people who really do care about their patients. It's not just a slogan above the front door.
I always had the best care at Magee up until yesterday..i had surgery at 8:30 a.m. didnt get into my room until 11 p.m.to matter matters worse. The room wasnt handicapped accessible. The air condition wasnt working. Thank god i got discharged today
Nice experience with the staff i had attending to my needs but the operating schedule can be organized a little better because it makes no sense to have a scheduled surgery at 10 & not be taken care of until 12:30 when you had to travel an 1 1/2hrs away for the much needed treatment just to wait n wait n wait...otherwise it's an awesome hospital
We came in by ambulance. The staff was very attentive to all are needs the kept Christina calm and were very good on my needs to we spent 10 hours in the delivery room and wanted for nothing. It was really a great experience. Her baby was birn at 9:19 pm into a room of loving people who really care about their patients thank you Magees for such a great experience
I've always loved this hospital! I was born here and always said no matter what I'd have my first child here and I did! He was born July 5 the 2017 and my boyfriend and I both loved it! I recommend this hospital to a lot of new moms because I honestly think they are just great! � my second child when the time comes will definitely be born at Magee also! My sons girlfriend just delivered and the nurse were wonderful! My only complaint is that after having her epidural she had a very bad headache and it took the doctor almost 2 hours to put an order in to allow her to have some Tylenol. They fixed her blood pressure and nausea in this time in a timely manner. I just don't understand why it took so long to fix her horrible headache!
