A hospital full of angels! My son was born at 23wks gestation weighing 1lb 5oz. That was 10 years ago.... he is now perfectly healthy, smart and he's a tall boy! You'd never know he was a micro preemie! The doctor's and nurses at this hospital are not just amazing..... they are true angels with huge hearts! Miracle workers!!
I was born there and my 2 sisters in 1955,1956,and 1962. My mom never complained. I think the insurance companies are bogus TODAY Not back then

I was admitted to Magee on September 19 when I was 30 weeks pregnant due to my water breaking. The plan was to try to keep to little one in until I reached 34 weeks. I received antibiotics to help with infection if it were to occur and steroid shots to help mature his lungs. I also got daily non-Street tests and weekly ultrasounds to monitor the baby’s heart rate and fluid levels. The doctors, nurses and patient care techs in the 2800 unit were all wonderful!! Went to visit someone today and had Tatyana for a PA and she was completely unprofessional and way out of line. Didn’t feel like a good environment and feel bad that this poor baby girl is stuck there with treatment from this lady. If a Tatyana were to come into your room and ask questions I would immediately request someone different unless you would like to be insulted the whole time and not even have a child being treated
I went into labor with my daughter at 26 weeks (this was 10 years ago). I got life flighted to Presby and then taken to McGee's. They said I had I some kind of infection in my uterus and I needed to have her asap. They let me lay there for 6 hours in labor. When I finally had her she wasnt breathing due to her lungs not being fully developed but her heart was beating! They gave her 2 full shots of epinephrine and it burst every blood vessel in her brain. They said they gave it to her because her heart rate was low. After the... read more
Your hospital registration receptionist was on a personal call while trying to get checked in and make sure my information correct, but hey at least i know that she told her kid she would pick them up after work.. nothing Like a hold button. And then was told there was no room and if i actually was in labor i would have been kept in triage. Awesome job Magee
