RecommendedVery cordial, helpful and informative. They instill hope when other doctors and hospitals have not! After first visit today the doctor provided a plan of treatment that should take care of the multiple medical issues I have had going on for a long time but couldn't get the right help elsewhere.
Although our experience with Magee is not over, I cannot say enough how thankful I am that my son and I ended up here.The Ob staff were wonderful to me. but it's the NICU team of nurses that really deserve so much credit. They each take their time to explain what they are doing. They tell me how my son is, what to expect during each step of every process. This has changed from an impossible emotional experience, to a more bareable one.
Went to the Erie branch, SO nice, comforting, and knowledgeable!
Cost to see your baby, plus feel like fathers are mistreated & pushed away from staying over night to be with there baby. The staff isn't always very honest. They dont respect peoples choices and places there belief above others. They can be very rude & not respectful. Some staff really has a poor handling of peoples children. just want to emphasize that day put their beliefs above yours making comments such as well I have to be here every day and pay for parking rather than sympathize. My previous experience with Magee woman’s hospital, I’m currently having an Ectopic pregnancy although devastating & hard to go through. I must say the staff has been nothing short of amazing. Beginning with the ultrasound tech Bonnie, when the doctor came in and told me the news she had this look of care in her eyes that I will never forget . After retiring from a steel mill working forty years in the blast furnace department, my knees where causing me severe pain. Those who I personally knew who had total knee replacement were still having pain and problems walking. I saw a presentation by Dr. Anthony DiGioia explaining TKR. Had my 1st baby here and I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else! Staff was very friendly and so eager to help or get you whatever you needed. Best hospital I've been to so far! Also baby was in the NICU and they did great w him. Also took great care of me for my blood pressure issues.
