I came in to have my right knee evaluated and after x-rays he told me my left knee was worse and it’s not hurting. That was shocking. I was ready to go forward with my knee replacement but Dr. Yakkani made the decision to give surgery a little more time, even though it is an evitable. Doctor explained the X-rays and MRI that he did on my hip and knee and the exam he did also. He gives a full plan on what he thinks is best and gives you options as well as listens to you. Great doctor and well mannered
Dr. Yakkanti is great. I’m a long-time patient. He treated me for a knee issues among other things. I received a knee replacement almost two years ago and recovered well with no complications. What makes him different is his patients and concern. He never seems rushed and is very thorough with his answers to my (and my wife’s) many questions. I have recommended Dr. Yakkanti and Louisville Ortho to several friends and family.

Dr. Yakkanti is courteous, respectful and professional. He takes his time with you to ensure you fully understand your plan that you both put in place. He and his staff have been great!
Dr. Yakkanti is an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend him to family and friends who are needing an anterior hip replacement. He kind and caring, very professional, and lets his patient know that he will take very good care of him/her.
