Dr Yakanti is very caring and takes the time to explain his instructions and answer your questions.
He quickly worked me into his busy schedule based on a referral from my doctor and took into consideration the urgency of my hip revision and the fact my husband has surgery scheduled soon. He scheduled my surgery asap. He was very pleasant and thorough in his explanation of what needed to be done.
Went to see him with what started as a groin sprain and over the next few days became a stiff back and muscle pain in thigh. He observed my walk. Checked my leg movements and explained to me that a lumbar disc is causing my issues. He showed X-rays and explained the condition. Answered all my questions and discussed a treatment, and possible future course of treatments if the condition doesn’t improve.
Dr. Yakkanti has been outstanding. I suffered a spiral Maisonneuve fracture to my left leg. He surgically repaired my ankle using cutting edge technology with plates and high strength wire. After 7 weeks I have already started PT and am walking/climbing stairs without crutches. I highly recommend Dr. Yakkanti and feel very fortunate he was available when I sustained my injury.

Dr. Yankkanti was very accommodating in timing a possible surgery. We discussed postponing my revision so I could address other health issues first that would be beneficial for a better outcome when I schedule my revision.
He had helped me over come 3 major infections in my replacement joints 2 in my knee and one in my hip. No other surgeon would take me case and help me but he did and I will forever be grateful for what he has helped me though.
Very kind and caring doctor. Took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly.
