Dr. Yakkanti operated my leg 13 years ago. I had a BAD fracture. I still have 2 plates and 15 screws in my leg. That was a surgery of an art level. My mobility restored to 100%!! The screws located close to the joints and I still have all my mobility I had before the accident! Dr. Yakkanti treated me with respect, explaining me all details I needed to know, answering all my questions. I feel so lucky I had him as my surgeon! He saved my leg. Thank you DOCTOR!!
Dr Yakkanti is an excellent orthopedic surgeon who I trust. This visit was a check up from a surgery done in the past Dr Yakkanti and his staff were professional, quick but thorough. My concern was the stability of the knee and what I could do to ensure my continued ability to walk. My concerns were addressed and physical therapy was prescribed to strengthen the muscles in both thighs. Questions asked and answered with a supportive solution.
He has done three full revisions on my knee. I managed to save my leg. I didn’t know that was possible. I keep getting infections in it and I wish I’d never done a knee replacement. Doctors never tell you what the real risk are. I know the surgeon did my original surgery never explained this to me or I would’ve never ever done this. The one good thing he did was he referred me to Dr. Yakannti however getting back-and-forth to Louisville it’s been very difficult very hard. Dr Yakanti cared and answered all my questions, including a different dr back shot not done by my dr Compton. I had never even met this dr and I was having severe pain even in my knee again..

Short wait time X-rays were done quickly Dr. Yakkanti came to see me very quickly afterwards and addressed all of my concerns.
Dr. Yakkanti, very professional, knowledgeable and precise about his profession.
Dr. Yakkanti did a total knee revision for me after I damaged my previous total knee in a fall. I couldn’t have asked for a better physician. Professional, thorough and compassionate. It’s been a long, hard road for me and Dr. Yakkanti has been there for me at every turn.
