Dr. Castro is an amazing cardiac surgeon who did open heart surgery on my husband and he is well known all over the United States. He explains well what the client may be suffering health wise and helps the patient to recover from whatever heart issue including surgery. He is the most kind and gracious person and doctor and He has a calm way of helping his patients with their heart issues. I cannot begin to express the Gratitude I have for being referred to Dr Davis. I have had several bad experiences with doctors, and I am very wary and skeptical about truly receiving the care that I would like to, and Dr Davis has far exceeded what I hope to have gotten from a doctor as far as care of trust, truly listening and feeling certain that she is doing everything possible for me. She has also referred me to another doctor I needed to see that vastly improved my health.
I had a triple bypass procedure on May 23, 2017, by Dr. Castro and his team. I could not be more happy with the result. We met a few weeks before and he was great in explaining the surgery and the many issues that I could expect. He visited me before the surgery and a few times after. He kept my sister apprised of my recovery. The ICU and CCU staffs were top notch in my recovery. I was home in six days and am recovering great. I recommend Dr. Castro and the entire staff at Sequoia Hospital.
I read several great reviews about Dr Castro and can now testify to the great work he does! He explained everything before the surgery and helped to clear any doubts I had about having open heart surgery. I owe a great deal of gratitude to Dr Castro and his team for the care they took in making sure everything would turn out well. I had an excellent surgical experience with Dr. Luis Castro and his team at Sequoia Hospital. Due to endocarditis, I had a severely damaged mitral valve. Dr. Castro, with his expertise and skill, was able to repair my valve. I feel so fortunate that he was my surgeon! His entire team is outstanding. Also, the care I received at Sequoia Hospital was first rate. I couldn't be happier with the results!
