I would recommend Dr. Luis Castro to anyone requiring heart surgery in a heart beat! Dr. Castro is competent, caring, and genuine. It's been barely three months since my open-heart surgery (aortic valve replacement and replacement of a section of aorta with aneurysm), and I have already started my weekend hikes!
Dr. Castro is not only a talented surgeon, but a consummate professional. Moreover, he possesses a unique combination of patience, humor and wit, coupled with verbal skills of preciseness equal to those he exhibits with his surgical hand. I also found Dr. Castro to be one of the most engaging human beings it has been my pleasure to meet. Dr. Castro's visits to me in the post operative environment were both reassuring and uplifting to me and without a doubt aided in my speedy recovery. Thanks
