Housed in the location of the original Good Eats restaurant, Lucky's has made its mark in outstandingly good home cooking. The decor is simple, with red vinyl booths, movie memorabilia and functional tables and chairs. Three of the four walls are glass, so natural light is always abundant. Migas, biscuits and omelet breakfasts draw crowds, especially on weekends. Lunch and dinner entrees include everything from milkshakes to burgers, fish to vegetarian dishes, soups, salads and fruit and it's all wonderful.

Always love having Sunday brunch at Lucky's on Oaklawn. Jim Besta as our regular waiter is simply the best
I love going here for a wonderful burger and service! So much to choose from, so little time to try it all!
There was hardly a wait time, the food was good but Our server was not very attentive toward me and my friend.......the busboy was more helpful. The server was an old queen who’s probably bitter because his show business dreams didn’t come true......oh well at least he got a $2 tip from me.
Best breakfast we’ve ever had in a diner. Everything tasted very fresh and of great quality! Family, small town vibe in a big city. Can’t wait to return!
Great food! Awesome waitstaff and the host who sat us (3/10/18) on Saturday morning is always so very sweet! I love eating here when I’m in town! Thank y’all!

Love this place!! We live in Deep Ellum and only Door Dash from here! My bf loves the pot roast and will pretty much only eat it from you guys ! Keep up the good work. Comfort food in the middle of the city!������
