I hate the Auburn, Maine Lowes... NEVER any help available, and been treated rude there several times.. the last straw was when I bought a faucet.. me ( having a blonde moment ) bought bathroom instead of kitchen faucet...(of course had help been available they might have told me it was wrong) went to exchange it hours later... could not find my receipt... policy on faucet no exchange w/o receipt... clearly could see it was not even opened..still brand new.. had to eat $128.... got my new kitchen faucet at Home Depot... We have had two recent experiences with Lowes and in both cases the service was excellent. Both involved deliveries, a dryer and lumber. In both cases the deliveries were schedule right when we needed them and the deliveries were on time and the delivery people were helpful and friendly! We have a tough steep driveway and it was not an issue for either deliveries. Also, the in store staff that worked on our deck estimating was very helpful and took the time to see that we had exactly what we needed. Thank you!!!
We will shop at Lowe's more often since I now know they honor our Veterans with a discount.
Got the new propane tank for grill. Next one or 2 for camper . For once only got what was after, always get extra. Next time.
I wasn't going to say anything but seeing that you asked I will let it all out. I went to visit my uncle yesterday, he is in home hospice program, his house was very hot. I suggested a new air conditioner and he thought it would be a great idea. My Uncle was always a very hard working man that always bent over backwards for everyone, he is an Army Vet, built bridges by trade and was always there to help friends and family no payment accepted. Two times today I've been here loading mulch into the back of my Jeep by myself because the four (4) pages for someone to assist have gone unanswered. I'm 54, female, and pissed off. 24 bags of heavy, wet mulch I've loaded by. MYSELF. Thanks, Lowe's. �
