My parent's refrigerator went out so I stopped by Lowes and purchased them a new one and needed it delivered since I was going to be out of town. There was a glitch with the delivery so I called Lowes and was upset. I spoke with Allison, She was very calm and let me know she would find out what the situation was. She called us back within 30 min and had the problem solved. Mistakes happen but I sure was impressed with how she took care of us. This is why I am glad I purchased with Lowes of Gadsden. Thanks again Allison!
Horrible customer service when dealing with warranties! Anyone can just call and verify someone's account. Lowe's needs some security measures set up.
I bought a storm door nearly a week and a half ago (May 6) and paid to have it delivered and installed. Not only do I not have it, no one has bothered to call and tell me why. I called them yesterday (May 14) and was told it was "pulled" Sunday (May 13) and the installers have 24-48 hours to contact me. And if i haven't heard from them by Wed to call back. Now I have to bring my husband DD214 and register online to receive the military discount?!? I’m not applying for a job! They just don’t issue a military ID card to just anyone! This is bs! My husband did his time for this country (so did I along side him), he shouldn’t have to pack around his DD214 with him. Do y’all also want to see his disability percentage? His psychological evaluations? Ridiculous!
My husband is in Lowe's of Gadsden almost daily. Today he needed a ladder and was not able to go so he sent me. I found the ladder he needed, and carried it up to the register. Mind you I passed 4 men who worked there and not one of them offered to help. I payed for the purchase and started walking to my truck carrying this 8 ft ladder. Another male employee walked behind me the entire time and not once was a gentleman and offered to carry it for me. He then watched me load it in the truck. So I spent an hour trying to purchase a wall oven today. Lowes apparently discontinued it in the amount of time it took me to walk to the front of the store. Then they were surprised that I didn't want to pay for the delivery and installation. It still shows available on the store website. I will be shopping at Home Depot.
Had to return kitchen faucet that was poor quality. No problems in return. Went back to the faucet displays and found a better model. Headed to check out and my dad used his mylowes card for his military discount. for some reason it did not show I had registered it. We paid for faucet the the cashier took us over to computer and worked to get card registered. It took a bit for it to go right but she hung in there and got it fixed.
