Horrible, horrible home improvement service. Should have learned when they screwed up my kitchen counter install. Gave them a second chance with fence install and once again very disappointed. Never again.
Yesterday, my washing machine broke and couldn’t be repaired. According to the add I read delivery is the next day. Went to the store, found a washer I liked, and the disinterested clerk told me it would be delivered on May 12. Talked with the manager and he could’ve cared less about losing a sale. Went to Best Buy, much better service and there were customers who I had seen at Lowe’s there. Awful customer service Lowe’s
Management is broken here. Employees are left to flounder and customer service is not taken seriously.
So I ordered a refrigerator yesterday online. Website stated I could pick it up at store or have it delivered for free. Opted for delivery. Confirmation email stated that it would be delivered today between 2:00 and 4:00. Nope. Called delivery people. We were not on schedule. Told me they needed to special order the fridge. Told me they would have your store call me back. Waiting...waiting. Called your store. What No answer. Went on website again. Same fridge is still available for pickup today from your store. Wasted an hour of my life waiting for someone to help me cut 2 small tiles while apparently the only guy that cuts them was giving someone a floor quote. One hour. Waiting for cut that took two minutes. Train your employees to learn to prioritize and/or use some common sense.
This store continues to go downhill. There were several customers drawn to the mums out front who wanted to go into the garden center yet the gates/doors weren't open. Also there was a refrigerator on clearance supposedly for a scratch on the freezer door, but I opened the doors only to see clearly it was used, food residue and odor, water and a lovely brown hair in the freezer. I informed an employee in the appliance department that they may want to clean that if they intend on selling it, especially for $850.
Round 7 at Lowes. My confirmed delivery never came today. As a matter of fact, when I called to see what time they might be delivering, my delivery wasn't even on the books. This is so, so, so, sooooooo frustrating and so far beyond laughable. And this is just the tip of the problems I've had with Lowes on this one project alone. Dating back to July 6 and close to $5000 dollars later. I hope someone in Lowes management sees these posts and, perhaps, even cares how they are running their business into the ground. Do yourself a favor, go see professionals for your home improvement needs, you'll wish you did. Horrible customer service, poor selection, inexperienced staff and lousy delivery service. All around sucks!!
Worst customer service I've ever had in my life. Will be recommending everyone I meet to shop literally anywhere but Lowes. Treat your customers better, idiots!
