RecommendedI’m normally a Home Depot customer but went to a Lowe’s yesterday and was so pleasantly surprised by the customer experience. I was looking for a hanging exterior light but they were sold out everywhere. Between Roland and Daniella, they went above and beyond to find a way to sell me the store model as item was discontinued. From removing the store model to working with customer service desk to ensure I can purchase it. In addition, they even gave me a discount on store model item. Thanks again to both of them.
@Lowes installed 20 leaking windows almost 4 months ago. Installers admit they sealed windows to the siding instead of the underlying waterproofing but #lowes researching while my house damaged with every rain. https://youtu.be/kBGkQlZUELE WET, MOLDY HOUSE BY #LOWES
I just left not too long ago after spending almost an hour in the store just trying to get a flapper for my toilet. only to be told by one of the associates that she thought I didn't need help because I was on the phone...(I wasn't even on the phone I just had the one earpiece in my ear). Now I see why people go to home depot instead.
Service is terrible. I purchased an exterior door and storm door to be installed. I picked it out in October and paid almost $2600 on November 13. I still do not have the door. When I called the installation department this morning (1/30/2019), I was told it would be another 2-4 weeks. I could have built a new house in the time it takes to get a door from Lowe's in Pembroke Pines, Florida
