Super disappointed with Lowe’s in Folsom. We had a Gas Range delivered this morning. It was dented and when we called to speak with someone we were told that we had to wait a few hours for someone to speak with. So we waited and after a few hours and US calling again we were told that the manager was on break and would call us back in a few hours. I was in yesterday in the evening and needed top soil in bags. I had to step around two employees so I could load the bags of dirt I needed. Neither employee attempted to assist me in loading and just continued to carry on their private conversation even though I obviously could use a little help. Competing garden stores insist on assisting with loading into your cart and loading into your car. I have heard others complain about Lowe’s customer service also.
We were attempting a simple vanity with double sink replacement. It has turned into a nightmare. We received our new vanity and vanity top, put them in the garage and tore out our old one and painted replaced the light which we bought there and was missing parts. When we were all ready my husband opens the box and it's not only broken and damaged it's wrong. We have sinks in outside edges they put drawers there. Tried to use a gift card given to my fiancé and I by his parents after they had been issued a return for an item they had been gifted. Could not use the card without the person who issued the return present, despite having them on the phone. No solution was given at the time of the transaction, we were just told we could leave a $400+ cart of items at the register.
See Katie McConnell's FB review. We are experiencing the same problem. All we wanted was a bathtub and surround. Lowe's in Folsom uses only one contractor - Blue Planet. Blue Planet worked 2 1/2 days on a job so simple I could have done it myself and then just didn't come back ... we are now nearly a month out and still have made no progress from that 2 1/2 days of work. And the quality of the work is very poor as well. We've gotten lots of promises from the store management, but so far no action.
We are on week 5 of a very simple bathroom remodel. All we are doing is new tile on shower and bath, new shower door, and new countertops. The contractor will not talk to us because we are frustrated in how long it is taking. Lowe’s could care less how long we are out of a bathroom. We have no idea at this point when it will be done. We paid in full 3 months ago!
