I asked the Gloucester Lowe's lumber dept attendant if he would rip 5 sheets of plywood, each into 3 sections. He explained that he would get in trouble for more than 1 rip per sheet, because other customers needed help too,but offered to sell me a table saw. So.....I called Home Depot 1 minute away, they obliged with my 2 rip request and a military discount. That left me time to buy a dryer, and other tools that I needed. Great store. Love the well trained associates. Would not shop anywhere else.
My husband went to the store a couple of weekends ago with our aging golden retriever. She was on a leash and is very well behaved. A walking around the store an associate told my husband he would have to leave as dogs were not permitted in the store unless they were service animals. My husband replied that our dog was better house broken then the worker was. Our dog lives for Saturday's. As soon as we get up she is heading for the door. Went to customer service for a question and there was only one person in front of me and my mom who was taking up quite a bit of time. Two other employees were behind the service desk and ignored us. We were on line for 17 minutes which is more than enough time to wait for service. The customer service lady was looking right at us while dealing with the person's transaction without a word of acknowledgement of our presence. Ended up walking away, it wasn't worth my time anymore. I ended up taking my business somewhere else.

Please NEVER purchase the extended warranty with any appliances! We have had two service calls and had to wait several weeks to get a response. When I called the extended warranty company today I was treated as though I was the scum of the earth! I have never been spoken to so rudely.... I was just inquiring on the status, very politely I might add. I have now been told it will be another seven days for parts before the repair visit will be scheduled!!!!!
