Bought a refrigerator from Lowe’s and had it delivered Friday 5/31. Went grocery shopping ($200) and woke up Monday morning to everything in the fridge and freezer ruined. Called as soon as they opened and they said “they have one on the truck ready to come out and they will call me before delivering”. Nice experience but only 1 line was open and there were 5 people ahead of me. So it took longer than expected.
Warning to friends and family, Lowe’s will take your money and cheat you. We bought carpet in July and they installed 2 different kinds, so half was not the price or quality we paid for. They tried to sneak it in but the installers told on them. We’ve been arguing for months and they’ve done nothing. Good prices. Clean store. Friendly staff. I was having trouble finding the bolt I needed but being a grown man I was embarrassed to ask. Well a nice gentleman employee approached and asked if needed any help. So I took him up on it. It was for a mailbox so he suggested a stainless steel. That helped me out and it was an upscale for the store. I enjoyed the help. Was in and out quick. The cashier had *trainee by her name on the name tag but she knew what she was doing. Bought and paid to have patio doors installed about 3 months ago. Took over a month for the person to come measure, took over another month to get an appointment scheduled, and now they have cancelled the appointment because it is too cold, and they have no idea when they will be able install. Go to Menards or Home Depot if you are buying anything you want to have installed professionally.
Poor customer service and business, purchased Trex decking that was on sale, 12 days after ordering they call and say they will not fulfill my order but they will order the same board 20% off original price. They should honor the price I paid for it!
Dustan in fashion bath was so helpful today in trying to piece together new bathroom parts and fixtures for my grandma's house. He was going out of his way to ensure all items I picked were in stock and even offered to call me for some other needs. I had a horrible experience trying to get this done at the Lowes on Beechmont and Dustan changed my whole day!
