After visiting the other two large home stores in town looking for a specific part, I called Lowes to speak to an employee. I spoke with Kelly in hardware and stopped in a little while later. I frequently shop at Lowe’s. Recently I was looking at the Nest programmable thermostat. The Lowe’s employee was going over the features and benefits. I wasn’t sure if I wanted it because the thermostat was over $250. The employee then told me Ameren was offering a $100 for everyone that purchased the thermostat. Since the rebate helped bring the price down, I purchased it. I just heard back from Ameren about my rebate. It has been denied since they are not my natural gas provider. We ordered new fascia and gutters and the work is awful! Lowe’s hasn’t helped rectify this. Absolutely do not recommend them for this service.
We will never buy an appliance here again. We paid a small fortune for a refrigerator from them last year. It quit running almost a month ago and still is not fixed. The repair service they contracted out to has not been able to get the part. Lowes told us to rent a fridge and they would pay us back. It should be their place to get us a loaner. We are disabled and it is hard to get out and take care of that, and we shouldn't have to come up with the money to pay upfront. Right now we are living out of a cooler. Never again w... read more
