We went to the lowes in Grand Junction, CO today 10/14/2020. We were shopping for appliances. We had to wait forever to receive help to purchase an oven and dishwasher. We finally received help and were very pleased with the associate, Nick. He sent us up to customer service and told us to make sure to tell them about the $300 coupon for our appliances. The crappy customer service you get is the worst! You order 20 blocks that Weigh 40 pounds each thru there app. You go to pick them up and the customer service person pulls a cart loaded with blocks and says here’s your order? That is just Asinine to me! Home Depot would’ve had them on a pallet and loaded them for me! Just plain stupid if you ask me!
I placed an order on the morning of 4/28/20. It was a decent sized order that needed some smaller items, which I understood would require some time to gather. I was given the option of store pick up with curbside, due to the covid19 virus. I decided this would be my best option as I try to limit my time in stores, since I have young children. Last year I spent about $15,000 at Lowes. In October the management decided they didn't want to run the saw anymore because it took away from customer service. So they flipped the breaker and told the employees to tell people it was broken. Wow. I run an Amazon handmade shop. In November and December I purchased another $10,000 dollars worth of supplies at Home Depo. You want to know why? Their saw Works!!! They have lower prices AND better customer service. Lowe's sells defective products then refuses to service or replace them. it doesn't matter if the service center you are refered to states that the product was defectively made. To further the issue the sales associates are uneducated in their jobs as they will either sell you a warranty they do not actually offer or in other cases recommend you not to purchase the warranty as it is a waste of money as it is covered by the manufacturer(Husqvarna), then they will tell you it is your fault for not purchasing it after being ins... read more
