Ordered a washer and dryer unit two weeks ago. Informed all units are in stock and would ship in 7-10days/I was told I couldn't drive down south 2hrs to pick it up though because they don't stock units in store..... Received an email two weeks later stating one unit had shipped and the other matching unit had been discontinued and is no longer available so I wouldn't be charged. I ordered online from Lowe's. My order was damaged and trashed in shipping per the shipping notification status. Lowe's did not contact me to discuss this or offer a replacement or refund. Further Lowe's has no manner to contact them other than an 800#, which is archaic and outrageous in this day in age. I have been on hold for almost an hour to discuss the status of my order or returning my money. Outrageous that their error in packing the product resulted in damage and they cannot contact me...
Don't buy flooring there, I bought my carpet and then didn't hear from them for over a month. Called several times and was told that the installer would be in touch very soon. On the fourth and final call the "lady" at the installations desk was extremely rude to me and then put me on hold until I finally hung up and called back. It was hard, but I was finally able to get a manager on the phone to request my money be refunded.
Long story short, I've wasted 3 weeks trying to get a bid on a carpet install. No one returns my calls, I've called up to 6 times in one day and never got anyone to answer my call. Then to top it off, I find out that they are still waiting to hear from the "private installer" about my house. The project is only 660 sq feet (3 Bedrooms).
