I've been to Thialand on several occasions, and I think I know the food pretty well. When I order my dinner in Thai, I expect them to figure out that I've been there and make me real Thai food. I'll let you in on a little secret: Thai food isn't made with JALAPENOS! This place is supposed to be the best in town; not only according to Citysearch, but also Al Roker. How much did they have to pay to get this review? I make better Thai food from Tommy Tang's book then they do. Go to King & I. Avoid this ersatz-Thia place if you ... read more

The best kept secret in Las Vegas – As a restaurant, there is only one way to survive all the glamour of Las Vegas Strip and the millions of restaurants at all those fancy hotels on the strip: Excellence! and that is what Lotus of Siam is: Excellent! We found it on Zagat and tried to give it a try and were so happy we did. It was a small restaurant in a shopping center and at first I thought maybe we are at the wrong place but once we experienced the service and the food and the PRICES! we were just amazed. To see more than ... read more

The Best Thai Food – Don't go for standard "American" Thai food, go for the Northern menu. Fabulous flavors and combinations. Everytime I fly to New York I have to bring several dishes with me to meet the demand.

Mouth-Watering Thai Food! – My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to Las Vegas last year. We've been there more than any other restaurant. The service is great. Once you've been there a few times, they treat you like family. They'll make any level of spiciness depending on what you want- from mild to physically dangerous!

Worse Thai Food Ever Had! – I have had Thai food all over the country including extensively in New York City for the year I lived there; I consider Thai food to be my favorite cuisine, and the food I had at Lotus of Siam was hands down the worse Thai food I've ever had! The soup I ordered had a quarter inch of grease skimming the surface, was bright orange (which it shouldn't be!) and contained chicken that was processed. The noodle dish I also had (Pad See Ewe) was completely bland and also contained processed chicken. I wa... read more

Outstanding Thai Food in Vegas – We had high expectations because of all the great reviews.....Rosengarten Report and Gourment. Met all of our expectations. Great food....service. The restaurant is out of the way.....in an Asian strip market. Don't panic....it is worth the trip and the cab fare. We will definitely dine with Lotus of Siam again

order off the dinner menu – Lotus of Siam is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants anywhere. However, don't be drawn to the lunch buffet, which sports more cheap chinese lunch buffet food than Thai. Definitely ask for the dinner menu and peruse through that instead. You will NOT be disappointed. Also, note that the restaurant is closed in the afternoon between 2:30 and 5:30.

Buffet lunch – I have been there at lunch time & yes, you have to be there early, otherwise, the food runs out & they do not bring out more. The food is ok for the buffet price you pay. I hate the red sauce that they use in the Pad Thai. It is a buffet madhouse....no atmosphere at lunch. I still think Jasmine Thai Gourment on Buffalo is better.

Disappointed – This did not live up to the hype that was advertised. The buffet was small. The food was almost gone by the time we arrived at 1p. They didn't fix any more and some ladies complained and they just said sorry. I paid 7.50 for noodles. On top of that everytime I got a refill on my drink I was charged for it. Service was very bad. I guess if you order off the menu they take care of you. The worst experience of our Vegas trip.
