Mrs. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. The office manager is probably the rudest person I have run into in my life. She treated me as if she was doing me a favor by going through my application. I understand that business is business but at the same time this is no way to treat people, especially when working in a community of soldiers and their families. I've had much better I renting from this company for about 8 months. The front desk staff was decent and professional but the conditions of the units were not the best. They require bi-annual cleanings and inspections and it made it seem as if the tenants were responsible for the upkeep rather than the agency. Repairs were done in a fair amount time. Still Good People We bought a house a few years ago and when we got our last PCS orders we did not hesitate to give our house to Longhorn Properties to manage. If they make the residents take care of the house like they made us take care of the places we rented I know we will be OK. Poor Property Management and Horrible Office Manager Darlene Longhorn Properties is the worse Property Management Company in the STATE of TEXAS. The staff is horrible, especially the office Manager. She is the rudest most heartless coward I have ever came across. I had an issue with my AC in which SHE told me that it was NOT an Emergency in the State of Texas when it was in fact an Emergency because it was over 90 degrees. bad credit no problem I got back from LA a few months back and was staying with a friend girl. The people at Longhorn sent letters saying i couldn't just stay and had to fill out application or leave. my credit was jacked up so i no they wouldnt let me stay but after i talk to them they did but i had to pay a bigger deposit. i will pay my bills better cause i tjink i might want to buy a house from them. i guess i should be glad they helped me out cause nobody ulse wuld. at lease im legal and dont have 2 hide. thanks to girls... read more
Poor management It is unfortunate that I have to write such a poor review for this company. I really wanted to like them. I am a property owner and I am very unhappy with the way Longhorn handled my property. They managed my property for 4 months and during that time it took them 1 month to figure out how to have the utilities turned on. The Best Choice My husband and I went to Longhorn after going everywhere in Killeen. They were recommended to us by a guy at the hotel but we didn't go and went everywhere instead. We saw a guy in a Longhorn truck and he took us to the office. They didn't have anything for us because I thought I couldn't wait 3 more days in a hotel. Doing the right Thing At first I was mad at Longhorn for charging me for cleaning and repairs until I called them and realized they were right. I let a friend do stuff and never checked. I should have did a better job of filling out the paper they gave when i move in and i should have stayed for the inspection. After i spoke to them i guess i was better because the truth is they were right and i was wrong. They worked with me on some of the charges and set-up a payment plan so it wont hurt my credit. Keep up the good work My wife recently moved to Killeen in anticipation of my arrival and was very impressed with the service, professionalism and respect of the employees at Longhorn Properties. The homes they showed her were well maintained, clean and ready to be moved into. Well I arrived I was impressed with their attention to detail and overall service and knowledge of the business. I have enjoyed being a tenant and should I buy a home they will certainly be my management company.
