No way! LongHorn may know what to say to GET your business but they don't know how to KEEP it. They have a very bad track record of keeping thier customers b/c A) their staff is rude, B) their repair people are incompetent and don't know how to properly fix anything and C)They do not care about their residents even WHEN you pay your rent on time every month. bad credit no problem I got back from LA a few months back and was staying with a friend girl. The people at Longhorn sent letters saying i couldn't just stay and had to fill out application or leave. my credit was jacked up so i no they wouldnt let me stay but after i talk to them they did but i had to pay a bigger deposit. i will pay my bills better cause i tjink i might want to buy a house from them. i guess i should be glad they helped me out cause nobody ulse wuld. at lease im legal and dont have 2 hide. thanks to girls... read more

Keep up the good work My wife recently moved to Killeen in anticipation of my arrival and was very impressed with the service, professionalism and respect of the employees at Longhorn Properties. The homes they showed her were well maintained, clean and ready to be moved into. Well I arrived I was impressed with their attention to detail and overall service and knowledge of the business. I have enjoyed being a tenant and should I buy a home they will certainly be my management company.
The Best Choice My husband and I went to Longhorn after going everywhere in Killeen. They were recommended to us by a guy at the hotel but we didn't go and went everywhere instead. We saw a guy in a Longhorn truck and he took us to the office. They didn't have anything for us because I thought I couldn't wait 3 more days in a hotel. They were so nice I wanted to let people know. Poor Property Management and Horrible Office Manager Darlene Longhorn Properties is the worse Property Management Company in the STATE of TEXAS. The staff is horrible, especially the office Manager. She is the rudest most heartless coward I have ever came across. I had an issue with my AC in which SHE told me that it was NOT an Emergency in the State of Texas when it was in fact an Emergency because it was over 90 degrees. Do you want ants in your pants? Longhorn Properties was the worst in every area. The house that we rented wasn't cleaned when we moved in. When we opened the door there were leaves, dirt and roaches. In the kitchen behind the stove, the pantry there were more roaches and they were full adult because they had wings, they were also in both bathroom. We called management and told them it wasn't cleaned and they said they would send someone out. Well it was too late, we had already packed the uhaul and was ready to unload. I wen... read more

Wonderful Experience I am a returning Soldier to both Killeen/Ft. Hood and Longhorn Properties. I have rented from this company for the past six years in between a few deployments.
