I had a very complicated loan. I was going through a divorce. It was a rural property on 27 acres and I was in the process of selling off a portion of the land subject to the loan. I also had to get my existing mortgage company to release that portion of the land I was selling. COVID was in full swing and it had become very difficult to find land surveyors and appraisers. I established my reverse mortgage back in June 2020, and had no problems whatsoever with Longbridge. It is only now that I'm making my first withdrawal of funds from my line of credit and therefore needed to contact them. My first experience did not go well, but as I later found out, it was not so much Longbridge as it was the particular person with whom I spoke...and even then it could be chalked up to a lack of communication. I found the people that I dealt with at Longbridge to be extremely polite, competent and understanding as we worked our way through the refinance process. They helped me through each step and when an obstacle arose found a way to solve it. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a loan and/or refinance!

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. This company has wrongly converted over $6000 of my money to themselves, will not correct the problem, return calls or do anything at all to correct this problem. Longridge Financial is the worst decision I ever made in a lifetime of mortgage dealings. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The process took a little longer than I expected when I started. Mostly because of how property ownership was recorded after sections of the property were purchased by the State.
