Dr. Mermelstein is a surgeon that actually LISTENS to patients when they speak, and determines a plan of action based on their needs rather than his own. Dr. Mermelstein was able to help me after the chief of Spine Surgeons at the Hospital for Special Surgery made a mistake with my surgery and then didn't know how to fix it. Don't make the mistake I did assuming the city hospitals that show up the best rated are actually the best; there's a lot more to rating than talent and knowledge. My Doctor is Dr Dewal and would recommend to him, I had Lumbar surgery a few years ago and it has helped me so much, things change in life that we can not control and I have to get another surgery because one of my screws came loose, I have never had any trouble getting an appointment or have my calls returned Lauren is the that scheduled my surgery and explains the process very well.
