We stopped in and were turned away by a waiter an hour before close. He said they were out of food because of Mother’s Day 3 days prior. Made absolutely no sense. Called the next day and they had absolutely no idea what had occurred and said they were not out of food. Where was management and what in the world was going on?
Mother's Day and you're out of Chicken Fried Steak????? You're forced to buy something you don't want and offer no discount. They said they ran out yesterday. Run over to Reasors and every meet place and buy some more. Are these not made in house? It's not alright, you're a steakhouse and you don't have chicken Fried steak and you didn't even try to make it right. Food was cold and tasted like it bathed in pepper. Which was probably a good thing because the Mac and cheese literally made me gag. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone. Unless you enjoy throwing $50 in the trash.
The restaurant was not busy at all, and we got dry pork chops, over done steak, and undercooked and underseasoned veggies. The food was very disappointing for the price we paid. Also, the bathrooms had no soap or sanitizer. If this was the only Lonestar I had tried, I wouldn't go back to one.
Our food was not very good. Dry pork chops over done steak, tasteless vegetables. Service was not bad. The bill stung for sure.
