This place is my safe haven.I bring my Bible to read and get connected with the holy spirit and a peace that I love.I come from Chicago and I see this as the perfect peaceful place.I recommend it to people all the time.The view is perfect.
Great facility! The sites are beautiful and wooded and the restrooms are clean. The beach, lake and all around the park are a great outdoor experience for the whole family, including our dogs. Do yourself a favor and camp here...it's really nice.
Beautiful day at locust lake. The kids were having a blast swimming and bike riding. Ice cream was wonderful. Will come again and camp!
A great park in the PA State park system. Great for small children as the entire park loop is out of way of traffic with plenty to see, experience and do. Fishing is good. Nice for kayaking and great for family camping � ! I've been coming to this lake before it was a state park!
Locust Lake has everything you need to camp for a few days or a week. (Swimming, boat rentals, hiking/running path and trails, fishing) I use to come here as a kid and now I've been bringing my kids every year for the last 5. Always have a good time and often brings back memories of my youth.
For me it's the ideal place, the trees provide shade on the walking trail, most of the people are friendly and the scenery is beautiful I manage to find something different each day to take a picture. I haven't found anything negative to say the people that work there are pleasant and courteous and I'm looking forward to going there as much as I can.
Nice place to camp or just stop there for the day to swim at the beach or walk around the lake. My grandson loves the playground
