My cousins and i have a "girls' weekend" here every year, and it's always great. The woods are nice and cool, we go to the beach, get ice cream, and kayak. We look forward to it every year.

The park was beautiful and I loved the trails and that the bathrooms were cleaned every morning (though they could be a bit bigger). The noise level at night, however, was appalling. There seemed to be no enforcement of quiet hours and nothing done about the people who were setting off fireworks. Isn't that what the camp hosts are there for? I would love to go back to enjoy the lake, but I'm not sure I want to risk the people again.
Its a moderately sized hole in the ground currently filled with fresh water. Not the best destination for someone who has a fear of large bodies of water and drowning... Anyways the beach area is completely on the other side of the lake from where the parking area it is about a mile walk from parking lot to beach area, beach area could use some maintenance. the sand should be dredged. Rocks, tree debris should be sifted and discarded. Also the water depth markers are not accurate
