Love to come here every year and spend some family in quality time with barely a phone signal. It is not big but also not small, nice medium size campgroung. We always did the short nature trails but with my daughter now being 7 we did the medium one. We brought our Labrador, Star and she was exhausted on the first day. Reservations are on website or over the phone. We were staying 6 days and extended two more days with the lady at the front office. #makingmemories #fun #familyfun #campinnature #4thofjulyweekend
Poorly maintained. Sites very uneven and water rutted. Once was very nice with old growth trees shading the sites.
I love locust lake beautiful and peaceful I enjoy camping here and walking around. Going on boat rides and swimming!!
I camped here years ago and enjoy coming back for another visit.
Went hiking for a couple hours with my two dogs. Beautiful place. Small. Popular camping place during Summer. Overall nice atmosphere but not somewhere I would go for a long day hike. We completed all the trails in 3 hours.
Nice place. We went there for a weekend, with a tent. Beware if you go for a weekend you will be surrounded by New Yorkers. They have boat and canoe rentals, and if you forget to bring food they have a shop there that is very inexpensive. Dollar for hotdogs and two dollars for a cheeseburger . The shop also has many food accessories and camping accessories as well as live bait. My daughter had her first fishing experience there, off the dock. I had to pull her away so we could eat. It's been going down hill. The beach is not Maintained well& the bathrooms. And people have dogs in the loops that are not indicated for pets. Some staff can be friendlier this our vacation put a smile on!
