I decided not to use loandepot and they had already taken over home insurance escrow and I lost my home owners insurance until I made many phone calls and days of worry until I straightened things out with insurance and mortgage holder. They caused me many days of anxiety and worry until I could sort things out.

the whole process from start to finish could not have been any easier, from the initial conversation with the loan officer to the signing of the final papers was seamless. Initial conversation took placed on the 12th of July and closed on the 30th of July with all funds disbursed on the 3rd of August. That is 21 days from start to finish. Each and every step was met head on with an easy to follow walk through of what needed to be done by various people under the employ of Loan Depot...... I had a very bad experience with LoanDepot. Once the rate is locked and the loan goes for processing, the loan processor's phones are set to directly send you to voicemail. It doesn't matter how many voicemails you leave, they never call you back unless it's the day before the closing and then they ask you for all the documents that you have already sent to them in email AND uploaded on their website. The loan processor very casually sends the email on the day before closing to postpone it by another day. As if the purchase ... read more

Loan Depot staff were professional, knowledgeable, timely and friendly. They helped me find the product that we needed to refinance and take some cash for projects at the house. Definitely would recommend.
