I stopped in today to just ask a question and was sent away because the shelter closed early due to them getting in a transfer. Not even a courteous question as to how they could help me quickly or if I had a question. RUDE RUDE RUDE
Little Traverse Bay Humane Society takes dogs shipped from Houston, TX. from HART (Houston Area Rescue Team) They give your animal about a month in a cage and then ship it up North. Rarely do they truly try and find a foster or forever home in or around Houston. I made the biggest mistake of my life and I have no idea where my baby is or what type of surroundings he is in. Had a fantastic experience with the family at LTBH and are grateful for our new family member!
We got two kittens to come to their new forever home! The staff was very nice and courteous. Also very patient as we had three kids and two adults to try and choose just the perfect match for our family! They allowed us to take our time (about 2 hours) and spend time with our favorites so we could get the two that meshed the best with each other and us. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new pet.😽😽😽😽
