We went up to Little Traverse Bay Humane Society this morning to donate some blankets and catfood. I had never been there. We were so impressed with that facility. The place is super clean, the staff is so friendly. We went in to see the dogs there were about five dogs in their kennels. The kennels were really clean and about four of the dogs were just relaxing and didn't even bark at us. I know where i will be making donations in the future. We just adopted the sweetest 3 year old boy pup from this shelter and it's clear they did a wonderful job taking care of him while he was on his way to us! Shelter is clean, good food, toys, large yard, blankets for every pup and an incredible staff to boot! We are SO in love with our new "son". I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone for just about any pet need - Training, vet, grooming, boarding, volunteering ! I had to board my pup while staying in the area. Was actually thinking of canceling the trip because I was worried about leaving my dog. Likely if I am Little Traverse Bay Humane Society dog boarding. They did amazing job and didn’t even mind me calling )more than once) to check on my dog. The update stories were fantastic and I was really able to enjoy the vacation a lot more knowing how happy my dog was!!
I drove 2 hours to get my little guy from there. Worth it.
We called last minute for our dogs to be boarded. Not only did they fit them in they also made time for grooming! They came back happy, clean and tired from all the playing. Thank you
I adopted my fur baby here and let me tell you that this place was absolutely amazing! They provide a lot of very helpful information to make your journey in adopting much easier. I brought home the most amazing boy because of how great the staff was! I am forever grateful to the staff for taking care of this boy before I adopted him!
Our “Baby” was so well taken care of at LTBHS. She is a beautiful addition to our home.
