The NICEST and FRIENDLYEST shelter I know of. Have never been disappointed with the kitties we have gotten. Waiting patiently for humane society to reopen to find a new partner for our Tobby, as his brother Harley went to heaven a week ago.
LTBHS takes animals from other states and Michigan. During the hurricane all the dogs were going to be euthanized. They work very hard to help families here and other places. You got to hand it to them. They are concerned for animals in Emmet County and all counties in Michigan. These girls work long hours to protect your animals every day. The staff at the vet clinic are amazing! Saving any animal is their first priority.
This facility is VERY clean and the staff is awesome. We were very pleased and we adopted out Furbaby in december.
I called to make an appointment at the groomer for my highland fold cat, after reading the description of their services on their website which included various things for your “pet’s” (including cats and dogs) needs. What they really should’ve said is your “dog’s” needs because when I inquired they only said they did the lion cut for cats, which I didn’t want. We could not be happier with the process of adopting our new little kitten; Flynn. Everyone was so kind and helpful and truly seemed to share in my excitement. Thank you very much for all you do. Such a huge commitment. Flynn is VERY happy in his new home :) Happy New Year!!!
